48HR Film Project 2005 - San Diego, CA
      Team: daflye.net

Initially this thing scarred the crap outta me. But the night before the kick-off I scored with a great bunch of actors courtesy of the DJ Sullivan Workshop and Kevin Six. Everything fell into place and I accomplished my two main goals:

1.) Actually enter the project and finish on time.
2.) Make something that, in my opinion, didn't suck. heh heh heh

Two days after the short was submitted I re-watched it and found myself cringing at more than a few lame edits, some poor audio mixing, and a handful of "should-ah, could-ah, would-ah's". But that's the nature of this project.

But I still like it, I still laugh at it, and I'm ever so grateful to everybody who put part of their Saturday, and themselves, into this.

To all the attendees at Comic-Con 2005 who consented to an interview with us, I cannot thank you enough. You handed me some lines that could not have been more appropriate or scripted. All without being coached. Thanks.

And to those that did not make the final cut, it was strictly a matter of adhering to the time limit and maintaining a pace. I hope you enjoy the short none-the-less and do know that you helped out a lot.
